Somehow “The Canadian Gangster” has upstaged last year’s title run by adding 2 knockout finishes en route to the finals this year. In the other corner, we have the PFL’s most entertaining fighter, Clay Collard who has also looked extremely impressive this year with 3 clear victories, his last one coming in a Fight of the Year nominee over Shane Burgos in the playoffs in which he threw over 400 strikes in 3 rounds to secure a unanimous decision and find himself in his first ever PFL Championship.

He faces PFL veteran and playoff mainstay Denis Goltsov, who has made his way to the finals with 3 first-round finishes, looking better than ever.

“Problema” will want to keep the fight on the feet and use his length to manage distance against the skilled Russian grappler. Brazilian destroyer Larissa Pacheco is currently on a 9-fight winning streak that includes 8 finishes and a championship win over 2x PFL champ Kayla Harrison. Pacheco is trying to make PFL history by becoming the first fighter to ever win World Championships in 2-different weight classes. She takes on elite Russian grappler and Sambo World Champion Marina Mokhnatkina who has won 7 of her last 8 fights with her only loss coming to the aforementioned Harrison.

In this year’s Welterweight World Championship, last season’s champion, Sweden’s Sadibou Sy will take on 2018 champion, Russia’s Magomed Magomedkerimov. Peruvian, Jesus Pinedo is coming off 2 of the biggest upsets in MMA this year after back-to-back knockouts over 2022 PFL Featherweight World Champion Brendan Loughnane and last season’s runner-up Bubba Jenkins. He will take on 2023 Challenger Series veteran and undefeated Brazilian Gabriel Braga, who looks to make the most of his first season in the PFL, as he aims to secure a World Championship at the age of just 25.
