Prior to PFL, Donn spent a decade as Founding Partner of Revolution Growth, the DC based venture capital firm, with $1 billion of investments into major market leaders, including DraftKings, Sportradar, Clear, CustomInk, Sweetgreen, Cava, and Scopely.
Donn served as President of the AOL Interactive Properties Group and was the youngest member of the company-wide AOL Operating Committee during the formative period of the consumer internet when America Online was Fortune 25 Company.
Earlier in his career, Donn built and led numerous high-growth companies, including CEO of Exclusive Resorts and Chairman of Miraval Spa Resort Group. Donn was Founder and President of Tribune Ventures, one of the first corporate venture capital units in media. Donn was named Chief Counsel for the Chicago Cubs at age 29, making him the youngest team counsel in MLB.
Donn is a pioneering investor in e-sports with stakes in Team Liquid and Epic Games. He is a graduate of University of Michigan Law School and Miami University (Ohio).
Peter Murray joined PFL as Chief Executive Officer in January 2018.
Peter is a senior sports executive and proven global marketer. He oversees all business operations, fighter roster, event management, broadcast production, original content, and marketing for the company.
Before joining the PFL, Murray served as VP Global Brand and Sports Marketing at Under Armour reporting to Founder and CEO Kevin Plank. In this role, he was responsible for category management of football, baseball, basketball, soccer, combat, and Olympic Sports.
Prior to Under Armour, he was Co-Founder and CEO of Insignia Sports Agency and EVP Marketing & New Business at William Morris Endeavor.
For 13 years, Peter was a senior executive at the National Football League (NFL), including leadership roles as SVP of Business and Content Development and SVP of Global Brand Partnerships.
Daniel Leff is Co Founder and Managing Partner of Waverley Capital. He is also Founder and Managing Partner of Luminari Capital (the predecessor of Waverley Capital and a top performing media focused venture capital fund that he founded in 2014
Prior to co founding Waverley Capital and founding Luminari Capital, Daniel was a Partner with Globespan Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, Daniel worked for Sevin Rosen Funds and Redpoint Ventures. He also previously held engineering, marketing and strategic investment positions with Intel Corporation
Daniel has been an investor in a multitude of media companies including 1Mainstream (sold to Cisco Systems), Art19, Elemental Technologies (sold to Amazon), Endel, fuboTV (NYSE:FUBO), Matterport (NASDAQ:GHVI), MikMak , MOVL (sold to Samsung), Novel Effect, PlutoTV (sold to Viacom), Roku (NASDAQ:ROKU), The Athletic, Wink, Wondery (sold to Amazon) and others.
Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from The University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. Daniel also earned an MBA from The UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management, where he was an Anderson Venture Fellow and where he currently serves on the Board of Visitors.
Mr. Snyder is the President of Luxor Capital Group, a leading New York City based alternative investment manager. Prior to joining Luxor, Mr. Snyder was the managing director of Starboard Value and previously co-founded Longbow Capital Partners. Mr. Snyder began his career within the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. Mr. Snyder is the Board Chair of Volta Trucks, a leading European EV truck company. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Board of Democracy Prep New York, a 15-school network of K-12 charter schools. Additionally, Mr. Snyder serves as Treasurer of the Board of The Buckley School and is a member of the NYC Metro chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Mr. Snyder received a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University, during which time he spent two years working in the speech writing office of the White House.
Ara Cohen is a Co-Founder and Co-Managing Member of Knighthead Capital. Mr. Cohen has been involved in the business of investing in debt and equity securities since 1993.
Prior to co-founding Knighthead in 2008, Mr. Cohen joined Redwood Capital Management, LLC as a Principal in early 2001 and helped build the firm from a small start-up to a multi-billion dollar fund. From 1998 until 2001, Mr. Cohen was a Principal of King Street Capital Management LLC. From 1995 until 1998, Mr. Cohen was a Principal of Tamarix Capital Corporation.
Mr. Cohen began his career in 1993 at Brown Brothers Harriman & Company, where he served principally as an analyst for The 1818 Fund, L.P. and The 1818 Fund II., two private equity partnerships sponsored by the firm. Mr. Cohen received his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Bowdoin College.
