As part of the 2024 PFL Europe Championships, in addition to the crowning of four champions, six men were given a special opportunity to earn a PFL contract if they could impress the legendary Cedric Doumbe. As part of “Doumbe Decides,” the six men competed in three bouts on the card, with two fighters being selected to earn deals with the PFL.

Ultimately, Doumbe elected to give PFL contracts to Mahio Campanella and Mathys Duragrin. Campanella earned his contract by scoring a first-round submission of Ezzoubair Bouarsa. Doumbe mentioned he was impressed by Campanella’s striking, as well as him being the lone fighter to score a finish. Duragrin, meanwhile, scored a dominant decision win over Yassin Chtatou.

Salvo Giudice, who made his professional MMA debut tonight, defeated Atilla Kobas in his own decision win. In a swerve, Doumbe decided to give the crowd an opportunity to determine if Giudice should be awarded a contract. The crowd approved, with Doumbe giving the contract as long as he works on his striking.
