PFL Interim Middleweight World Championship set to headline PFL Austin as Johnny Eblen faces Impa Kasanganay

Bantamweights Lewis McGrillen and Rafael do Nascimento compete to announce themselves to the world in the co-main event

NEW YORK (July 14, 2026) – Professional Fighters League (PFL) today announced the full card is now complete for Saturday, July 18 at Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

Former Bellator Middleweight Champion #1-Johnny “Pressure” Eblen (17-1) and 2023 PFL Light Heavyweight Tournament Champion #3-Impa “Tshilobo” Kasanganay (20-6) will compete for the Interim PFL Middleweight World Championship in the main event of the evening.

Eblen is returning from domination over Bryan Battle at PFL Pittsburgh and is focused on becoming World Champion once again. His revenge over reigning PFL Middleweight World Champion Costello van Steenis will have to wait, as “The Spaniard” is sidelined with injury. This sets the scene for the first ever interim world title fight in PFL history as Kasanganay, who also won at PFL Pittsburgh in devastating fashion, seeks world champion status as well as redemption for a closely contested split decision loss to the American in 2024.

In the co-main event, two elite bantamweights collide in a classic striker-versus-grappler matchup as 2024 PFL Europe Bantamweight Champion Lewis McGrillen (12-1) takes on PFL newcomer Rafael do Nascimento (12-3) following Sergio Pettis' withdrawal due to injury. McGrillen’s ferocious pressure and striking will meet Nascimento’s wild and aggressive grappling, with only one man set to stand victorious and announce themselves on the world stage.

Rounding out the main card are two featherweight bouts sure to keep fans on their feet. Ireland's Caolan Loughran (11-3) faces American standout Julio Arce (21-7), while Peru's #3-Jesus Pinedo (25-8-1) squares off against America's Joseph Ruquet (10-4).

The PFL Austin main card will air live on ESPN2 in the U.S. beginning at 8 pm ET. The preliminary portion will begin at 5:30 pm ET and can be seen on the ESPN app. Tickets for the event are available now through Ticketmaster. The full main card can be seen below.
