The next Movistar Plus+ broadcast of PFL will take place on Friday, March 20, for PFL Madrid, as PFL becomes the first global MMA organization to host an event in Spain, headlined by Spain’s PFL Middleweight World Champion Costello “The Spaniard” van Steenis vs Fabian Edwards II
NEW YORK (February 10, 2026) - The Professional Fighters League (PFL) today announced a groundbreaking new deal with Movistar Plus+, the largest PayTV provider in Spain, to broadcast all 24 PFL Global and International League events in 2026. The new deal will allow Movistar Plus+ subscribers to experience PFL on Vamos por M+ (channel available to all Movistar Plus+ customers), the entry-level package, ensuring maximum exposure and visibility of elite MMA.
The deal comes ahead of PFL hosting the first ever global MMA show in Spain, as PFL Madrid will take place on Friday, March 20, at the Palacio Vistalegre. In the main event will be Spain’s PFL Middleweight World Champion Costello “The Spaniard” van Steenis, who toppled the previous reigning undefeated champion Johnny Eblen with a spectacular rear-naked choke in the final 10-seconds of the fight. He will look to defend against the dangerous Englishman Fabian “The Assassin” Edwards in a rematch set to entertain the masses in Madrid.
