Breno, born in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil, began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 10 and relocated to São Paulo at 17 to advance his career. Breno spent many years training under former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Glover Teixeira and alongside UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira. His Bellator record stands at 1-1, with his debut victory coming against Josh Hill by unanimous decision at Bellator 284. Of his 15 wins, 9 were earned in the first round, with 6 knockouts and 3 submissions. Breno has won 3 of his last 5 fights and 11 of his last 14. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Breno recently moved his training to Blackhouse in Los Angeles.
