CAREER NOTES
Franco Tenaglia brings one of the most unique resumes in combat sports to Professional Fighters League, making his PFL debut at PFL Madrid on March 20 at Palacio Vistalegre. Known as "El Rey De La Calle" — The King of the Street — Tenaglia is an Argentine-born, Spain-based fighter whose career spans multiple combat disciplines including MMA, bare-knuckle boxing, traditional boxing, and bare-knuckle MMA. Born in Argentina, Tenaglia's path to professional fighting began far from the bright lights of sanctioned events, forging his toughness through underground bouts before earning his way into legitimate competition in Spain.
Tenaglia's combat sports journey is defined by his willingness to compete anywhere, against anyone, under any rules. He rose to prominence in the bare-knuckle fighting world, capturing the BKFC European Lightweight Championship before earning a shot at the world title. At the inaugural BKFC event held in Spain in October 2024, Tenaglia won via majority decision in a grueling championship fight to claim the BKFC World Lightweight Championship in front of his adopted home crowd. That performance cemented his status as one of Europe's most decorated bare-knuckle fighters. In MMA competition, Tenaglia has demonstrated finishing ability through both strikes and submissions, showcasing the versatility that comes from training across multiple combat disciplines.
