Who Will be Taking on Decorated Veteran Cindy Dandois With a Trip to the Playoffs on the Line

Pettis and Palmer Fights Rescheduled for June 25 Card, 2019 Champion Isaev Out

NEW YORK (June 17)- The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, today announced an update to the PFL 6 fight card. The stacked card will air live on June 25 and round out the 2021 Regular Season, setting the stage for the much-anticipated August Playoff slate. Win-or-go-home scenarios will play out in every bout and when the night concludes the 60 fighters who began the season will be whittled down to just 24.

Headlining the event will be rising superstar Kayla Harrison, who has shot out to an impressive 9-0 record, including seven stoppages, after a stellar Olympic career that saw her claim back-to-back gold medals in 2012 and 2016. She will be tested by fellow judoka Cindy Dandois, a pioneer in women’s MMA, who sports an impressive 16-6 record over her 12-year career. Harrison will look to cement her place atop the standing heading into the Playoffs while Dandois needs to secure as many points as possible if she wants to keep her playoff hopes alive.

Anthony Pettis will make his PFL return against tough up-and-comer Raush Manfio in a lightweight bout that the former UFC champ will need to finish early on if he is going to make the final four at 155 pounds. The stakes will be high for Manfio as well, he’ll need to notch a win of his own to punch his ticket to the semifinals in August.

Two-time PFL featherweight champion Lance Palmer will have a shot to join the top four featherweights in playoff action if he can lock up an early stoppage against PFL-veteran and knockout artist Movlid Khaybulaev. Palmer saw his undefeated PFL run come to an end against fellow wrestling standout Bubba Jenkins, a first-round finish will give him the opportunity for payback in the playoffs.

2019 PFL Heavyweight Champion Ali Isaev was not medically cleared to fight and will not compete. Alternates Chandler Cole, Stuart Austin, Klidson Abreu and Jamelle Jones will fight and will have a chance to accumulate points towards making the 2021 Playoffs. Cole will step in against Ante Delija and Austin will matchup with Renan Ferreira while Abreu and Jones will square off with Jones.

PFL 6 begins at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+ (English and Spanish), then the action continues on ESPN2 at 9 p.m. ET.
