Please see the following changes to the 2021 PFL Playoff Event 1 fight card
- Joao Zeferino is out due to injury and has been replaced by #5 seed Sadibou Sy (Sy originally scheduled to fight Gleison Tibau). Sadibou Sy went 1-0-0, 1 NC in the 2021 PFL Regular Season and looks to secure a spot in the championships against Magomed Magomedkerimov.
- With Sy stepping in as an alternate, Tibau now faces Curtis Millender in the preliminary headliner on ESPN +.
- Natan Schulte is out of his scheduled fight vs Olivier Aubin-Mercier. Aubin-Mercier now faces veteran Darrell Horcher in an incredible lightweight matchup.
- Nikolai Aleksakhin is out of his scheduled bout against Brett Cooper. Cooper now faces PFL newcomer and jiu jitsu ace, Tyler Hill.
- A new lightweight matchup has been added to the card; Elvin “The Prodigy” Espinoza puts his undefeated record up against 5-1 prospect, Hopeton “The Prince” Stewart.
The PFL Playoffs take place on August 13, 19 and 27 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL.
