Brice Belghazi is noted for his explosiveness and finishing ability in the cage. Belghazi needed just 28 seconds to score a knockout in his lone amateur fight. Belghazi then made his professional debut in February, winning via triangle armbar in 40 seconds.

 

Eoin Sheridan’s martial arts journey began with karate and kickboxing at the age of 5, going on to claim the ISKA Irish National Kickboxing Championship in 2017. A two-time Team Ireland representative at the IMMAF Championships, Sheridan has trained under John Kavanagh at SBG Ireland, and he even served as a training partner for Conor McGregor during preparations for McGregor’s 2020 fight against Donald Cerrone. Sheridan made his professional MMA debut in September 2023, defeating Joey Dakin via second-round doctor’s stoppage TKO.

Belghazi shoots in almost right away as he presses Sheridan against the fence. Belghazi wraps around Sheridan’s legs. Belghazi with a couple of inside shots. Sheridan throws a body kick, but it’s caught by Belghazi, and he gets into top position on the ground. Sheridan throws up his guard. Belghazi with a takedown attempt early, and the action goes back to the fence. Belghazi pressing. Sheridan with a knee to the body. Belghazi throwing knees to the legs. Belghazi breaks it. Belghazi goes for the takedown again, but Sheridan battles through. Belghazi gets Sheridan back to the fence. Sheridan reverses. Sheridan continues to press forward and gets Belghazi down to the mat again. Sheridan grapevining the legs with the two of them against the fence. Sheridan thinks about an arm triangle or some ground-and-pound.
