After going from the PFL Challenger Series to a dark horse PFL Playoff appearance last year, European Karate and Kickboxing Champion Martina Jindrova returns to the SmartCage to take on Amber Leibrock. Leibrock, who carries a three-fight winning streak into this bout, credits fighting for turning her life around after getting involved in drugs and gangs at just 15. These two well-credentialed strikers should produce fireworks in the SmartCage.

Round 1

Our card continues as the bell rings and both fighters rush to take the center of the SmartCage. Neither fighter seems overly eager to engage as they attempt to feel each other out and find the range, and it’ll be Jindrova landing first with a nice 1-2 while retreating after a missed low kick from Leibrock.

Leibrock seems to be having some trouble finding her range early as she’s coming up short on most of her strikes. Leibrock finally lands a nice kick to the body as Jindrova is closing distance and stops her in her tracks before they reset.

Two minutes in and the volume has been low but it’s certainly been Jiondrova landing the bigger shots and OHHHH! Leibrock with a high kick from hell and Jindrova hits the mat! Leibrock swarms with ground and pound and that’s all she wrote! What a debut for Amber Leibrock as she secures the Quick Six.
