The role of Vice President, Media Sales is responsible for overseeing media sales across all platforms associated with the PFL. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented, strategic and hands-on market maker and revenue generator.
12+ years of media sales experience
Lead strategy, planning, pricing, inventory management and sales for PFL’s controlled media inventory across linear networks (ESPN), digital partner platforms (FUBOtv), PFL Fast Channel, PFL digital and social channels and third party digital and social platforms.
Sell media and fully integrated brand partnerships tied to PFL’s live global franchises including: PFL Challenger Series, PFL League Season, PFL Pay Per View Super Fights, PFL Europe, PFL MENA and other PFL international regional leagues.
Ensure PFL is well represented in covering the sports media planning and buying agency marketplace as well as selling PFL advertising and media partnerships directly to brands.
Partner with PFL Head of Brand and Digital to create strategic content and commercial deals that expand PFL’s distribution, promotion and media inventory.
Strong executive presence with experience working directly with C-Level Executives.
Experience in consultative and marketing leadership positions, working closely with consumer data, trends, and behavioral analysis.
Superior organization, project management skills and attention to detail.
Background and Requirements
Proven commercial executive with a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding revenue goals.
Previous experience successfully closing multiple complex media deals.
Must possess a significant number of established relationships at senior levels at Client Direct and Agencies.
Ability to identify opportunities, develop strategies and negotiate creative solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
International experience is a plus.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point.
Ability to travel and to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
