PFL postponing 2020 season due to coronavirus

PFL is a global MMA league, with athletes from over 25 countries," PFL CEO Peter Murray told ESPN. "Our team decided that first and foremost, for the health and safety of our fighters, fans, business partners and event personnel, with so much uncertainty surrounding Covid-19, we determined this is the best course of action. It's prudent and guided by safety. Our decision is to push back the upcoming season, which was previously scheduled to begin in May, to spring 2021 on ESPN.

2020 International Qualifier Series

In February through March of 2020, the Professional Fighters League embarked on a worldwide search to bring exciting international talent to the league - the 2020 PFL International Qualifier Series. Two international promotions hosted PFL International Qualifying Series events in the form of a one night 4-fighter tournament. The contenders who were victorious earned a spot on the PFL roster and now have an opportunity to compete in the PFL 2021 Season.
